Moments and events
Every photograph is a snapshot — in the most literal sense of the word. Not a studied pose, not calibrated lighting, but something that already existed and that would vanish a second later. Like a Polaroid slowly emerging between your hands, every image in this collection is a memory at the very moment it is born: not documentation, but instant memory.
Whether it is the explosive energy of a rock concert, the intimate solemnity of a ceremony, the shared effort on a mountain trail or the genuine tradition of a village festival, my approach stays the same: to be invisible.
I do not build the scene, I wait for it. I move through the crowd or in the silence of nature to capture that spontaneous gesture, that meeting of glances or that detail which often escapes the naked eye. In this collection you will not find posed photos, but fragments of real life, where the colours and the light are not artifice, but memory.

Where these photographs come from
These shots come from very different places: from the Truffle Fair of Alba, from the mountain huts of Valsassina and the Resegone at sunset, from the beaches of Levanto and Spotorno, from the pedestrian tunnels that link the villages of the Ligurian Riviera. They come from weddings celebrated in Brianza farmsteads and from village churches in the province of Bergamo, from traditional fairs and processions such as the Mezza Quaresima in the old town of Bergamo, from rock concerts on the Lombard plain.
I do not build the scene — I have already said so above — but it is worth putting it more concretely: I move, I wait, I observe. Sometimes for an hour without taking a single shot, then in thirty seconds three things happen at once. This collection has no single thematic thread: it does, however, have an emotional one. Every image is a moment that would never have existed again in the same way.
